Free Meta pixel checkSee a sample report

See what your wine pages really tell Meta and Google.

A Meta pixel and tracking check for Commerce7 winery sites, the same one the care plans run every month. It takes 1 to 3 minutes, needs no login, and the score shows on this page.

  • Free
  • 1 to 3 minutes
  • Public pages only, no login

A finding counts only when both browsers see it. The visit never shows up in your analytics. How we handle your data. This site is protected by reCAPTCHA, and the Google Privacy Policy and Terms of Service apply.

What Meta received

A visitor opened /wines/estate-pinot-noir

Example
  • A wine page was viewed Received
  • Which wine it was Missing
  • What it costs Missing
  • Page views counted once Counted twice

So Meta can't show this wine in catalog ads, or tell a $20 bottle from a $120 one.

After the check

You decide what happens next. Nothing happens by default.

  1. Read the report

Each issue says what we saw, why it matters in sales or ad money, and which fix solves it.

  2. Pick what to fix

Every fix has a fixed price. Meta tracking installs are free with 1Pixel. Or hand the report to your developer.

  3. See it working

We check every fix live with you, in Meta Events Manager or Google, before we call it done.

What we check

The check sees your Commerce7 site the way Meta and Google do.

14 checks on your public pages, the way your customers see them. No login, nothing to install, and the visit never counts in your analytics.

Meta

Does Meta know which wines people look at and buy?

  • A pixel on every page, and whether it loads
  • Two pixels, or page views counted twice
  • A product view on each wine page, with the wine and its price
  • What changes after a visitor accepts your cookie banner

Google

Can Google Analytics tell which wines sell?

  • Google Analytics 4 on the site and counting
  • A product view on each wine page
  • What changes after a visitor accepts cookies

Your wine pages

Do they work for shoppers, Google and AI assistants?

  • Wine pages and photos that load
  • Price and stock data Google can read
  • Sold-out wines that still say "in stock"
  • What a shared wine link shows on Facebook, LinkedIn and in messages
  • The page address each wine gives Google
  • Wines that ChatGPT, Perplexity and Claude can read
  • robots.txt and sitemap letting Google and AI search in

Two browsers

A first pass finds your wine pages. A second pass in Google Chrome, scrolling like a visitor, has to see the same problem before it counts.

Cookie banners

If your site has one, we accept it and look again, so a missing pixel and one waiting for consent are told apart.

What it can't see

Server-side tracking, Merchant Center and your ad accounts. The report says so where it matters.

FAQ

Questions wineries ask before we start

Something else? Email [email protected] and you get an answer within one business day.

What does the free check look at?

Your public pages, the way a customer sees them. We load your homepage and a few wine pages in two separate browsers and record what reaches Meta and Google. We also check the product data Google reads, whether your wine pages and photos load, and whether AI assistants like ChatGPT can read your wines. No login or access needed.

Why do you ask for an email?

The check starts with just your website. While it runs we ask for an email. Everyone sees the score and the issue titles when the scan finishes. Why each issue matters, the fixes, and a private link that works for 7 days, come after you leave an email. That keeps the scanner from being used anonymously.

We already have a Meta pixel. Why would we need this?

Having a pixel and sending the right events are different things. Some Commerce7 sites load the pixel but never tell Meta which wine someone looked at, or leave out the price. The check shows which one you have.

Does Commerce7 send our sales to Meta on its own?

Commerce7 can load your Meta pixel on the storefront, and the pixel reports what happens in the browser. Sending orders from the server, including tasting room and phone sales, takes an app from the Commerce7 App Store. 1Pixel for Meta is ours, and setup is free.

Do we need Meta's Conversions API Gateway (CAPIG)?

Probably not. The Gateway copies the events your pixel fires in the browser and sends them to Meta from a server, which you run in your own AWS or Google Cloud account or pay a host to run. Because it only sees the browser, orders rung up in the tasting room or taken by phone never reach it. An app that reads orders straight from Commerce7 sends those too, with nothing to host.

Can you set up Google Analytics 4 ecommerce tracking on Commerce7?

Yes. The Google measurement setup ($400, fixed price) covers Google Analytics 4 installed or fixed, ecommerce events from wine view to purchase, and Google Ads conversions with order values. Tested with real Commerce7 orders.

What is in Fix + Apps?

Tracking cleanup, site health fix and wine page SEO & link previews, plus 1Pixel and AI Visibility & Shopping Feed installed and set up, for $449 once. The apps are billed monthly through Commerce7, from $29.99/mo each. Google measurement setup is not included. Bought separately, the same work comes to $950.

What if the fix doesn't work?

When we finish, we run the same check on your site again and send you the result. If an issue we fixed still shows, you get your money back for that fix. That holds as long as we get the access we ask for and nobody else changes that part of the site while we work.

How do we pay, and can we talk first?

Pick the fix from your report and you get a fixed-price invoice. Work starts when it is paid, and we send a short list of the access we need. If you want to talk it through first, a 20-minute call is $49, and it comes off any fix you book within 30 days. App setup calls are free, since the app subscription covers them.

Does server-side tracking ignore our cookie banner?

No. Server-side events still follow your consent and opt-out settings. What changes is that events no longer depend on the browser loading the pixel, so ad blockers and slow pages stop losing them.

Will the check show up in our analytics?

No. We block the tracking requests our visit would send, so Meta and Google never count it. We never add to cart or start a checkout.

How does the monthly scan in Care work?

Every month we run the same check on your site. If a theme update, a plugin or a Commerce7 change breaks tracking or a wine page, we tell you and fix it inside your plan hours.

What is included in free app setup?

An intro call, install and authorization, baseline configuration, one test event or sync, and short handoff notes. Custom mapping, multi-step Zaps, backfills, theme work and ongoing support are outside it.

Is the WordPress plugin free?

Yes. 7Labs Debug & Branding for Commerce7 is free on WordPress.org. Paid help is there when you want hands-on debugging, branding, launch or storefront work.

What does "starting at" mean?

It is the floor for a clearly scoped job. We confirm the workflow, access and result you want first. Anything beyond that scope is quoted, or billed at $50/hr once you agree to it.

How do care plans work?

A plan reserves about two, four or eight hours a month for monitoring, fixes and small improvements. Extra time is billed at $50/hr, and we tell you before we go over.
